doing super hard training part 3

So after all this training. Mom puts all my Roxie stuff in the trailer and we goes off to show. This show is a long ways away, in some trees. We has been to this place before and I loves it.

i goes to my stall and gets all settled. Mom comes after a little bit an we gets our dressahj tacks on and I go do a test. We are the last ride of the day basicly.

They do scores but Mom is all "SUPERSTISH I WILL NOT LOOK" so i do not know wat is the score but MOm is happy with my performance.

I gets leg rapped and covered in a sheet and gets to go to sleep.

day 2: We goes and does cross country!







I is a galloping fool and i jumps all the things. There is a time where we has to go thru water ans there is a HOLE BUNCH OF PEOPLE on the other side of the water in a hooman corral made of flaggy string and they is VERY SCAREY! I runs sideways when we has to go by them! They may not touch my Roxie Greatness!

But I jomps all the thinsg and i is amazing. Mom says so.

There is a big gulley on this course that you go down into and up outta, two times, and Mom says i should not canter down this because it is steep. So we trots up out of it the steep way the first time, and then trots back down the steep side on the way back. So we has some time faults but this is OK because I is safe and sound.

Day 3: we does stadium jomping! This is not in a stadium tho. Just an areena.

I is perfect but i is kinda tired despite all the super hard training. Mom has a hard time making me be forward.






But that is ok, i has no stops and no refoosals and I is great. Duh like always.

Oh this is important. Mom says if i jumps good that I never has to go for a big fast gallop EVER AGAIN. And i is like . . . "YES I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE"

So that is why i tries so hard.

But anyways so i is amazing!

And then we gets a super big ribbon and we gets to be in a victory gallop!



I sees this. Gimme it.
Thas right.

Mom is SO HAPPIE and she says i never have to gallop ever again!!

And i gets a hole bag o carrots and some graims and a bunch of cookies. Well i guess i got those all weekend.

And then i gets to go home! Hooray Roxie!

Doing super hard training part 2

So as promised. I will continue to discuss super hard training.

Here is the steps.

0) I goes on a diet. I hate this.

This country has un attainable standurds for beauty


1) a vet lady comes and stabs some junk into my Roxie neck and i hate this. But. It makes my legs crackle less. so that is good.

2) we gets a big ol set of front shoes on so i may do more training in places where there may be a rocks or such.

My farrier man is the best

3) We signs up for dressahzj lessons with a real good program. And we goes to them weekly. An we also works on dressahzj at home. I do lots of cannering with my sholder in, or my buttocksie in, or sometimes i switches them side to side. It is so hard! I want to give up an be heavy but Mom will nut allow. :( As time goes tho. This gets more easier.

It is my hope to som day be as fancy as this fancy Potato

4) we gets to go jomp cross contry! I love this. It is my favorite. And i is amazing, i jumps all the stuff even when it is weerd looking or painted bloo or maybe shaped like a mushroom. And i jomps ditches and down banks and up different banks and over skinnies and thru watters and between trees. I is a glorious cross contry thunder horse.

5) We does galluping. This is the hardest part. We goes to a trail that has long flat stretches and we starts out by trotting. we trots for a while. Each time we goes and does trotting, is lasts a little bit longer. We gets up to where i can trot for like TWELVE MINITS. That is forever, by the way. So i does that until i is trotting for over a mile at a time. Then mom changes it up a little and we starts doing some short cannering. Cannering is SO HARD YOU GUYS it is like lifting weights as fast as you can. So some days we canner politely for a few minits at a time. Other days we goes and does some warm up trotting and cannering and then mom makes me RUN AS FAST AS I CAN HO CRAP LETS GO SO HARD I GONNA DIE. These bursts are not as long but they feel like forever because I cannut breathe fast enough. But then i gets to walk and everything is cool til we does it again.

6) evenshually when i is reel fit. we goes and starts trotting the hill across the road from my horse house. it is long and gradual but this is hard work! It makes my bottom real strong tho.

Doing super hard training part 1

So mom signs my Roxie greatness up for a show and i is all "HOORAY I LOV SHOWS"

Until she explames. 

She is all "blah blah This show will involve some intense effurt so we must do a training." 

This is like months ago.

So that is where i has been.

No time for bloggo becuz of if there is time, i is spending it trodding or jomping or even doing super fast gallups.

But anyways so this enrty is a Part 1 so now you may imagine me becomming so svelte Roxie as the summer moves on.
